Dustin,

In a different thread, I alerted you to an abandoned team in League 34. I'm curious if WCOFF management made the changes.....or did you notify the owner and he subsequently made the changes?

The reason I ask is because he's got Jonathan Stewart in the starting lineup and Maurice Morris on the bench. Stewart won't suit up this weekend. While I don't think Morris will light the world on fire, League 34 will take all the points we can get. We're in the running for the Overall League Award and I'd hate to see 11 diligent owners lose out because someone has mailed it in.

If WCOFF mgmt has taken over the team, can you make the change? If not, is there a way to view the owner's contact information so we can reach out to him?

Thanks for everything.

Chris

If anyone needs a laugh, take a look at this stat line we posted this weekend at the WR position. I've never seen anything like it..........

Jerrico Cotchery -- 1 point
Marvin Harrison -- 3.1 points
Bobby Engram -- 1.8 points
Marques Colston -- 0 points

5.9 points!!!

Hey guys. Looking for clarification on the 2pm and 6pm drafts on the 23rd. Correct me if I'm wrong, but each timeslot counts as a "session", right? That would mean the 2pm session would have it's own $10K prize, as would the 6pm session. (provided each session reaches your target for applicants) Please advise when you can.

Thanks!

Dustin/Jesse,

I was curious to know if you were planning some type of Hall of Fame Draft this year? I hadn't seen any announcements. With how busy you are these days, I'm sure the timing of my question isn't the best.

In the past, I know there has been a sizable chunk of money put up by the WCOFF owners for this. I hope the tradition continues as I think it's a cool side event. And for what it's worth, I don't think a big dollar payout is even necessary for the die-hards in the WCOFF. A trophy and bragging rights might be good enough.

If it's something you're considering, and can be worked out logistically, my two cents would be to consider holding two HOF Drafts.......one in Vegas and one is AC.

Either way, looking forward to a great 2008 season!

Dustin &, Jesse,

Great idea to offer winners a chance to deduct the 2008 entry from this years winnings.  Thank you!

I have a uick uestion for you or anyone else with experience in this area.  If we deduct the 2008 Entry fee ($1625) from our league winnings ($7000), will our tax exposure e for $5375 rather than the full $7K?  I'm thinking the 1099 would e for $5375 now, ut just want to confirm.  Ultimately, I know it's our responsiility to check with our accountants, ut I figured I'd throw out the uestion to the message oard.  I know we have a few CPA's out there.

Thanks again for a great season!
