Now that we have all drafted our teams, it is time to work the waiver wire. We see a couple of potential valuable players on the wire and wanted to review few of them.
Week 1
TE's
Robert Royal - He was a sleeper going into the season for me. Brady Quinn loves his TE, (as all inexperiance QBs do). Week one he had 4 catches for 60 yds and a TD. Don't expect 16 pts every week but could make a solid backup TE for those who lack depth.
Ben Watson - Had a huge week for the Patriots and always seems to start off hot...then falls off the earth. If you are hurting early in the season he may make a decent start.
WR.
Lois Murphy - He looked like the first round pick - not "I am afraid to get hit Heyward-BEY" Lois comes in polished and could be a solid player. He is likly gone in most leagues but a few leagues he has fallen.
Michael Clayton - With the injury to Antonio Bryant, Clayton posted great numbers week 1 5 catches for 93 yards. Not a huge fan of this offense (other then RBs) however he has a chance to be a solid player.
Johnny Knox - He is the #3 Target in Chicago and it looks like they want to air it out this year. It seems like him and Cutler are building chemistry. Not sure I would pick him up but keeping a close watch on him.
Julian Endelman - He is currently banged up but after watching Joey Galloway play Monday Night I am not sold on him as the #3 WR in NE. Endelman was a QB in College but has Wes Welker like abilities. The patriots released Greg Lewis which indicates they like this kid. Keep an eye out as he may make a good late pick.
